My love for writing started at a very early age. I remember reading stories about little girls who kept diaries and begged my mom to buy me a diary. It was fun to share the details of my day and the secrets I didn’t feel comfortable sharing with my friends. I was a shy, quiet child so it was a great way to say everything I felt uncomfortable verbalizing. The love really became intense in the 10th grade when my English teacher made journaling a requirement. At first it was challenging because it was more about feelings than about events. As the year progressed she enjoyed my entries and encouraged me to continue writing. So here I am 30 years later continuing the relationship with expression via written words! Enjoy the journey…..
